UK handmade Article

I may not have been mentioned by name in the UK handmade article about the Newcastle Craft Mafia, but my large felt vessel has ( see the photo on the right of the first page) This was a workshop I gave to the group on needle felting . I just about got in on the action , well my skirt and top did !!

Dressing up exhibiton.

Today was the day we dismantled our exhibition at the People's Theatre in Newcastle . Generally it was a successful exhibition , with just one or two little gripes , A lot of people saw our work over the 2 months it was hanging and we received some great positive comments along the way.
It is now off to the Discovery Centre in Bishop Auckland so if you missed it why not try to pop over to see it.

Stitch-in-9 challenge

The challenge was to cover a 4 inch square piece of fabric using only one colour and in hand stitch. As you can see this one is in neutrals. The theme was lines .

Folksy Heart Swap

I've been busy playing to my hearts content. This is the result a luxurious embroidered heart as part of a swap with a fellow Folksian . I'm so looking forward to seeing what comes my way in return.
I hope its not the only Valentine I get!

Mushroom works
